Gamer Dorks Universal Ruleset

The rules below are enforced across ALL Gamer Dorks platforms, including but not limited to Discord, Minecraft, and any other games or game servers.

Respect one another

  • Be kind and respectful to everyone, regardless of who they are
  • Respect the boundaries, triggers, and privacy of the community.
  • Discrimination is strictly prohibited. All are welcomed here.

Keep it age-appropriate

  • Not Safe For Work (NSFW) content is not allowed in this server.
  • Avoid controversial topics, such as politics and religion.
  • No sensitive or triggering topics.
  • Mild language is allowed so long as it is respectful.
  • Discriminatory slurs are not allowed.
  • Topics regarding substance use or abuse are not allowed.

Communicate responsibly

  • No spamming or trolling.
  • No advertising.
  • Do not make loud or repetitive noises in voicechat.
  • Do not play music in voicechat.
  • Try your best to avoid talking over others.
  • In Discord, keep channels on topic.

Follow In-Game Rules

  • Each of our games or game servers have their own specific ruleset and you must follow them.
  • Additionally, you must follow the specific ruleset of games not related to Gamer Dorks.  For instance, we do not allow people to break the Minecraft Usage Guidelines in any Minecraft Server.
  • Encouraging people to break in-game rules for any game is not allowed.
  • Distributing software to break in-game rules for any game is not allowed (i.e. distributing cheating software).
  • Do not share pirated games or promote piracy.

Contacting Staff

  • There are three official ways to contact staff across all our products and services. Send a message in #⁠support in Discord, open a ticket in the ⁠#ticket channel in Discord, or email us at admin@gamerdorks.net.
  • Report any infractions to staff using the methods above, or an acceptable in-game reporting method if available.
  • Complaints and reports are strictly prohibited in the general channels.

Miscellaneous Rules

  • Follow Discord’s Terms of Service.
  • No users under 13.
  • No illegal activity.
  • No ban evasion.
  • Staff members are held accountable to rules.
  • Admins may intervene in situations not expressly covered by the rules.
  • We reserve the right to ban users for matters of extreme off-platform behaviour.
