Good evening and happy March! We’ve got some news regarding partner events, stream schedule, and progress on our games (or lack thereof).
Too long, didn’t read? Here’s the major points for you to know.
- No progress of note has been made on our games. This is likely to change soon.
- Five events this month, each one takes place on a Saturday at 16:00 MST. We’re playing Team Fortress 2, Jackbox, and then Among Us three times. All but the first are partner events.
- We’re switching our stream schedule to mornings only, except Saturdays.
Studio Update
Nothing of note. We’ve been focusing on the community aspect of Gamer Dorks in February, and many of our staff have been taking breaks. And so, game progress has stalled. This is likely to change in March, as our events and streaming schedule are more stable; and as our staff team becomes less busy.
Stream Schedule
We have changed our livestream schedule! After a week of testing, we have determined that morning streams are better, both for our streamers’ schedule, as well as for viewer counts and engagement.
As such, you can catch our streams at 08:00 to 12:00 MST on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; from 11:00 to 13:00 MST on Saturdays and Sundays; and from 16:00 to 20:00 on Saturday evenings.

Upcoming Events
We have five events this month! The first is at our home Discord server, Gamer Dorks. The rest are at partnered Discord communities.
On March 1, 2025, at 16:00 MST, we will be playing Team Fortress 2 at the Gamer Dorks Discord.
Game: Team Fortress 2 – This is a classic first-person shooter game that is free to play on Steam! It is PC only, but it runs on most devices, old or new. It is available on Steam at https://store.steampowered.com/app/440/Team_Fortress_2/
Rules – Make sure to follow the rules of the Gamer Dorks Discord server. Make sure the game is stream-friendly, so no inappropriate decals or profiles, and be civil in voice and text chat.

On March 8, 2025, at 16:00 MST, we will be playing Jackbox Games at the partner server Artists Corner.
Game: Jackbox – This is a collection of party games that you can play from your browser, simply by entering the room code on https://jackbox.tv. No payment required. You can play this from your phone, your PC, or even your console.
Rules – Available in the Signup Form.

On March 15, 2025, at 16:00 MST, we will be playing Among Us at the partner server Kittie Cafe.
Game: Among Us – This is a party game of teamwork and betrayal for 4-15 players, set in space. It costs $5 on Steam for PC players, but is free on Mobile. Check out its Steam page here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/945360/Among_Us/
Rules – Make sure to play fair and play nice, and only unmute during meetings and before the game starts. It’s bad etiquette to unmute during the game or while you’re dead. You also cannot watch the game on stream while you are in-game.

Predictions
Besides events and stream schedule, basically everything else in the coming month is uncertain. However, we would like to provide you all with some predictions, for possible things to look forward to.
- Game development will resume and we will have our first playable stage in Escape from Rockfall. You might also be able to see gameplay on our YouTube channel, or live development on Twitch.
- We will release long and short stream clips or compilations on our socials, on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok in order to help grow the community side of our brand.
- If we get lucky, we might reach Twitch Affiliate, or 500 members on Discord. Or both. If we get both, Carolyn will probably throw free stuff at one or both communities.
