Our Partnered Creators

oh no, describing myself. my greatest weakness

Anyways. The names Mochi, Le Mochi Boyo. I’m just another hopeless content creator with an aspiration to entertain with various kinds of videos and weekly streams.

Follow Le Mochi Boyo on:

“Im Ryse, I’m a small content creator with the goal of having fun and growing as a community. I post mainly Minecraft videos but often find myself playing whatever game seems fun at the moment. Take care, Peace out.”

Follow The Rysing Side on:

“I’m CyperBlade.  I am no more than just a content creator, who is really just trying to find their way in this world.  I always had compassion for creating content ever since I was little.  I love playing video games with my friends.  In particular, I wanted to be a variety creator mostly because I love the differences in every game I play; to see the hard work and effort put in to each individual game.  And I’m just here to share that with the world.”
Follow CyperBlade on:

“I’m a streamer who turns my VODS into banger YouTube videos. And if YOU join on stream you will have a chance to be FEATURED in a video.”

Joining the Partner Program

Gamer Dorks communities runs a Partner Program!  If you are a creator or run an online community, you can sign up to partner with Gamer Dorks.  Each program comes with a variety of benefits, privileges, and responsibilities.

Join the Creators program if you make video content on YouTube, Twitch, Instragram, TikTok, or a similar platform; and if you want to make that content using our games or game servers.

Join the Associates program if you run an online community, such as a Discord server, and want to run events in collaboration with us; or if you want to run events using our games or game servers.

Read through the entire section about the partner program you’re interested and see if it’s right for you!  We’d love to collaborate on whatever we can.

Creators

Make video content on one of our games or game servers and share your content with our community!

Guidelines

You can be a creator on YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, or TikTok.  We may expand this upon request.  We currently have no follower requirements, but you must be a unique brand.

You should plan to make at least some of your content on a Gamer Dorks game or game server, if you haven’t already.  When you’re making content about our products, you must accurately represent it, meaning you can’t misinform people about our games or game servers.  Your content must be of decent quality and cannot break any of the server rules.

Promotion

As a creator, you can promote your content in many of our Discord channels.  These include:

  • #mc-videos if it’s related to Remnant Minecraft.
  • #if-videos if it’s related to Island Fortress.
  • #uploads-n-streams if it’s important to your brand, such as a channel trailer or other sort of announcement.  Please ask for approval before posting in this channel.
  • #media if it doesn’t fit elsewhere.
Perks

Creators who are actively part of the program get the highest possible supporte rank in all the games or game servers they participate in, as well as other perks.  You may opt-out of any of these if you wish.  All the perks are specified below:

  • Gamer Dorks Community: You get a special channel to yourself as well as honorary access to the staff hangout channel.  In addition you also are permitted to post in all the promotion channels previously mentioned.
  • Remnant Minecraft: You get free Diamond Rank and some exclusive in-game merch based on your brand, such as custom deathrattles, heads, and item skins.  These cosmetics will also be sold in the store, and 100% of their profits will go straight to their associated creators.  You also get early access to certain Guild features so that you can gather your fanbase in a team without needing to grind for it.
  • Island Fortress: You get reserved slots for our servers, which allow you to jump to the front of the queue if the server is full or spectate the match while the games are full.  Note that this does not kick out players currently in the game.  More perks to be determined later when we make our game store.
Opportunities

As a creator you have access to make special content on our games and game servers.  These special opportunities are as follows:

All creators who want to participate in Remnant Minecraft are invited to join a creator let’s play series.  This will be in similar format to Hermitcraft or similar SMPs, where creators create a cinematic universe in the Minecraft server, each from their own perspective and adding their own twist to the game.  As a part of this Let’s Play series, you can build an empire with your fans, collaborate or compete with other creators, and have a fun time making videos together.

In general the format for this series will be open to each creator to make it their own.  However, if you’re having trouble figuring out how you would participate, here’s how I’d do it:

  • Post a weekly or monthly episode on YouTube containing all the important, funny, or interesting things you did on the server since your last episode; attempting to complete at least one major goal per episode.
  • If I have something to work on that is a generally boring task, such as mining or collecting a lot of wood, I would stream this to YouTube and Twitch and get my followers to help with the project.
  • Post funny moments from episodes or streams as short-form content on YouTube, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.

Remnant developers are willing to give creators access to the test server a couple days before an update so that they have the opportunity to make a video going over all the changes, to be posted the day of the update.  This way, they have a chance to prepare a video ahead of time and don’t have to rush to be the first one to release a video.

This is also a good opportunity to give the staff team early feedback of the update, in case we missed a flaw in our design or need to fix a bug.

We only ask that if you are to make videos about content updates, do not release them BEFORE the update itself is released.  Schedule them to be released at the same time.  We will work with the creators to effectively communicate when that would be.

In your own style, make Team Fortress 2 weapon reviews specifically about the special settings on Island Fortress.  We suggest demonstrating the weapon, explain how and when to use it, its strengths and weaknesses, and what you like or dislike about that weapon.

If you’re looking for inspiration on how to do this kind of video, check out this video by Uncle Dane.

Opportunities aside, please make videos however you like, and we at Gamer Dorks will help you achieve that goal.

Associates

Collaborate on community events and growth!

Community Requirements
  • Your online community must be hosted on a reputable site such as Discord.  It must enforce its own rules, its platform’s Terms of Service (or equivalent guidelines), and it must be an appropriate group for most or all ages.
  • You must agree to share certain Gamer Dorks cross-community events, (including the events hosted in partnership with other communities) in your own community.
  • Your community must be public or at least have an extremely low barrier to entry.  It must not be difficult to enter your community.
  • Your community must not allow discrimination or prejudice of any form.
Collaborating on Events

Gamer Dorks extends the opportunity to collaborate on events to all partnered communities.  Any Associate may request to work together on an event using our games or game servers.

Guidelines and information for event collaboration are as follows:

  • Your event may be private, only inviting your community, or may be public, inviting the whole Gamer Dorks community and its partners to participate.
  • When you host a public event, they will be discoverable from our games or game servers in which they take place.  For example, if you host an event on Remnant Minecraft, it will be periodically mentioned in chat.  In addition, there will be an in-game events calendar showing all upcoming public events in chronological order.  It will also be posted in the Discord server, and everyone with the relevant events roles will be notified.
  • When you host a private event, it will not be broadcast to our communities.
  • When you’re scheduling an event, we will offer certain premium rewards to be given to participants for free.  These will be limited, however, and if you want to offer your community more rewards, you will have to work with us to arrange this on a case-by-case basis.
  • When you want to host an event, you must discuss it with the server owner and ensure that what you request can be done.  In general, we will do what we can to make this possible.
  • Events cannot overlap.  Your event cannot take place at the same time as another partnered community’s event.  Gamer Dorks’ own events take precedent over other server’s events, but we won’t intentionally crowd out event slots or override someone else’s event.  This does not include our weekly events.  Weekly events can be cancelled to make way for cross-community events.
  • When another partnered community creates a public event, you must allow it to be posted onto your server.  Don’t worry, if you would object to an event being posted in your server, chances are, it isn’t allowed in the first place.
Minecraft Server Partnerships

Remnant Minecraft is willing to partner with other Minecraft servers.  When we collaborate on events, we are willing to do cross-server events where players may be transferred from Remnant directly to the partnered server to participate in the event, or vice versa.  We would also be interested to run events which take place in multiple partnered servers at once.  We will want Remnant to be visible and joinable from an appropriate partners page in your server, as there will be a visible way to join your server from Remnant.

Perks

Associates may post an invite link to their community in the #partners channel in the Discord server.  There will also be ways in our games or game servers to find our partners without entering Discord.  You will also get a spot on our website.
