Partner Program

Apply to join the partner program!  We personally work with creators, communities, and brands to establish mutually beneficial agreements and help one another grow.

Creators

Gamer Dorks invites content creators to become a part of the partner program!  If you make videos or live stream on Twitch, YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok; and want to work directly with us, the partner program is for you.

To become a Creator Partner, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have at least 1000 followers on TikTok or Instagram; 500 subscribers on YouTube; or 100 followers on Twitch.  There are exceptions, so scroll to the bottom of this page if you don’t meet this requirement, as you may be able to apply anyway.
  • Have created content about or on a Gamer Dorks game or game server.
  • Have no recent infractions on any Gamer Dorks community, game, or game server.
  • Have no objectionable content on your platform, such as might be against our community rules.
  • Have a good reputation with the current staff team.
  • Be in our Discord server.

As a creator, you are expected to regularly (at least once per month), create content about or on a Gamer Dorks game or game server.  You are encouraged to collaborate with other creators to make fun content as a team, but it is not necessarily required.

As a member of the partner program, you are given certain privileges on our games, game servers, and community:

  • Access to all unlockable channels in Discord.
  • Free Diamond Rank in the Gamer Dorks Minecraft Network.
  • Conditional free items from the server store, such as free update crates on Skirmish & Siege when a new update comes out.
  • Opportunity to work with the staff team to create exclusive “Creator Merchandise” for sale on our Stores.  For example, sell your Minecraft Skin head on the DorkNet store, and earn 90% of the profits from that purchase.  We’re willing to get creative and work with you to achieve unique marketing.
  • Free access to new, non free-to-play Gamer Dorks releases on Steam.

Communities

Gamer Dorks invites online communities to become a part of the partner program!  If you run a community on Discord, or on a similar platform; and want to work directly with us, the partner program is for you.

To become a Community Partner, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have at least 1000 members on your Discord server.  Exceptions apply on non-Discord communities and will be reviewed case-by-case.
  • Have no recent infractions on any Gamer Dorks community, game, or game server.
  • Have no objectionable content on your community, such as might be against our or your own community rules.
  • Have a good reputation with the current staff team.
  • Be willing to collaborate on events with Gamer Dorks.  Including, but not limited to,
    • Working together to deliver an event to your community, taking place on a Gamer Dorks game or game server.
    • Posting a major event hosted by Gamer Dorks to an appropriate events or announcement channel in your community. 
    • Ping @everyone once per year for the Annual Festival of Dorks.  Your community may be exempt if it has a large enough member count.
  • Be in our Discord server.

As a community partner, you are expected to collaborate with us to deliver fun events exclusively to your community, and to help us broadcast major Gamer Dorks events to appropriate channels in your community.

As a member of the partner program, you are given certain privileges on our games, game servers, and community:

  • Access to all unlockable channels in Discord.
  • Free Diamond Rank in the Gamer Dorks Minecraft Network.
  • Conditional free items from the server store, such as free update creates if your community is running a Skirmish & Siege update event.
  • Opportunity to work with the staff team to create exclusive “Community Merchandise” for sale on our Stores.  For example, sell a poster of your community logo on the DorkNet store, and earn 90% of the profits from that purchase.  We’re willing to get creative and work with you to achieve unique marketing.
  • Free access to new, non free-to-play Gamer Dorks releases on Steam, to be sent out as giveaways in your community.

Brands

Gamer Dorks invites brands to become a part of the partner program!  If you represent a real-world brand and would like to sponsor Gamer Dorks, the partner program is for you.

To become a Brand Partner, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be willing to pay for advertising; such as by paying us for a percentage of sales made by an affiliate link or by paying a flat rate per view on our ads.  Rates will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
  • Your brand must be reputable and not follow any practices that may go against our rules or values.
  • You cannot advertise any product or service that will not be appropriate for all ages.

As a partnered brand, you are given certain opportunities to grow your brand:

  • Use of the #sponsorships announcement channel in our Discord server.
  • Use of sponsorship billboards in our Minecraft server, viewable from our spawn region.
  • Non-obtrusive ad reward programs in our free-to-play game releases (including Mobile and PC releases), that will give players the opportunity to watch your advertisement in exchange for in-game rewards.
  • Giveaway programs tied in to your product.  For example, if you run a t-shirt company, you can work with our staff team to create a product which comes with free exclusive cosmetics in one of our games or game servers; such as a matching t-shirt for your in-game character.

Exceptions

We are willing to work with our partners to make exceptions to any of the terms above.  No exceptions are guaranteed, but they are a possibility.

FOLLOWER EXCEPTION: You may be able to apply to become a Partner Creator even if you do not meet the following requirements.  If you consistently have created quality content on our games or game servers, we can work with you to make you exempt from this requirement.
