Guide to Creative Pro

This page is a complete guide to Creative Pro, our creative plots server in Minecraft.

Connect to this server by joining Gamer Dorks at mc.gamerdorks.net on Minecraft Java or Bedrock edition and using the /creative command. If you’re on Bedrock edition, you will also need to specify the port 25565.

Worlds

There are four worlds.

  1. Spawn. This area can be accessed with /spawn and is used to reach the other worlds.
  2. Basic Plots. 64×64 free plots for everyone to use. By default, everyone has 4 plots to use, and can get more with Ranks.
  3. Premium Plots. 256×256 plots for ranked users only. You must purchase a rank to get access to plots in this world.
  4. Event Plots. This world changes depending on the current events going on in Creative Pro, and is not always open.

If you ever need to switch worlds, go to /spawn.

Plots

You can only build in a plot you own or are trusted in. Here are some commands to help you manage your plots:

  • /claim – Claims the plot you’re standing in, if it is unclaimed.
  • /auto – Claims the nearest empty plot.
  • /trust <player> – Allows the specified player to build in your plot.
  • /merge – Merge your plot with the one you’re looking at.
  • /delete – Permanently deletes your plot. These builds cannot be recovered.
  • /visit <player> – Teleports to the specified player’s plot.
  • /plot home – Teleports to one’s own plot.

Plots are completely protected from griefing by non-trusted players. They cannot place or break blocks or entities in that area.

Pro Tools

Everyone on Creative Pro has access to two professional building tools entirely for free:

  • WorldEdit: Simple but powerful building tool that requires no mods to use. Learn more at  https://worldedit.enginehub.org/en/latest/
  • Axiom: Complex client-side building mod which requires a download in order to work. It is normally a paid tool, but is free on this server. Learn more at https://axiom.moulberry.com
    • To use Axiom, you have to join via mc.gamerdorks.net and not by Minehut.

If you’re new to both of these tools, we recommend trying out a few WorldEdit commands to start:

  • //wand – Gives you the WorldEdit wand for making selections.
  • //set <pattern> – Sets the entire selection as the given pattern.
  • //replace <blocks> <pattern> – Replaces all blocks of the specified type in the selection with the given pattern.
  • //move <number> – Moves the selection by the specified number of blocks in the direction you’re facing.
  • //copy – Copies the selection to your clipboard relative to your position.
  • //paste – Pastes your clipboard relative to your position.

Teleportation

These commands can be used to navigate the worlds:

  • /spawn – Takes you to the Creative Hub, where you can go to other worlds.
  • /plot home – Teleports you to your plot.
  • /tpa <player> – Requests to teleport to a player. They can accept or deny this request.
  • /sethome <name> – Set a home with the specified name.
    • Return to it with /home <name>.
    • Delete it with /removehome <name>.
  • /rtp – Teleport to a random position.
  • /back – Return to the place you last teleported from.

Utility Commands

A list of miscellaneous commands usable in Creative Pro.

  • /gm <mode> – Changes your game mode.
  • /utilityblock – Allows you to access the Debug Stick, Barriers, Lights, Structure Voids, and Avatar Paintings.
  • /range <amount> – Increases your block interaction range by the specified amount.
    • /range reset – Resets your range.

Nomination

You can nominate a build to be used as an official server build in one of our other modes by Nominating it, and you will get some free rewards for doing so.

Start the process with /nominate while standing in your build. We’ll check it out, and if we like it, we’ll use it on another server in the network.

If we use your build, you can win free ranks, free Creative Utilities package, or something else from our server store. We’ll contact you.

You MUST be the owner of the plot to have your build nominated. By nominating your build, you give us permission to use it anywhere on the network.

Creative Utilities Package

Perks obtained from the Creative Utilities package available at https://dorknet.tebex.io/package/6862575

  • /scale set <player> <amount> – Make a player larger or smaller.
  • /npc create – Create up to 10 Citizens NPCs which look like players.
  • /plot flag – Change settings in your plot, from time of day, to ambient music, to entity cap.
    • /plot flag set entity-cap 64 – Allow up to 64 entities in your plot.
  • /renameplot – Changes the title and subtitle when entering your plot. Use “& codes” to change the color, and use “\n” to define a subtitle.
  • Items with NBT Data – Use banners, enchantments, spawn eggs, and more.
  • Saved Hotbars – Access to your saved creative hotbars.
  • Perform Bigger Operations – Access to much larger areas using Axiom or WorldEdit.
  • Unlimited Plots and Trust – Claim and merge unlimited plots in the Basic Plots world, and trust unlimited players.

Disabled Features

A few features available in vanilla are disabled in this server. This is to prevent crashes and griefing. Those features are listed below:

  • The Wither
  • All Projectiles
  • Item Drops
  • End Crystals
  • TNT
  • WorldEdit with NBT Data
